BS0xtra feat. Rob Smith

BS0xtraのリヴィング・レジェンドが帰還

今回はゲストに、昨年でデビューから30周年を迎えたSmith & MightyのRob Smithを招いてお送りする。現行シーンのルーツでありながら開拓者でもある彼のプレイは必見。4月に日本8ヶ所を巡るRob Smithツアーの最中、東京でのホームと言えるBS0xtraに出演。彼からの影響を受けながらその先を追求するxtraクルーとのセッションをお楽しみに。

ブリストルを中心としたサウンド＆カルチャーをここ東京に浸透させるべく始動したBS0による、平日モードな番外編BS0xtra。ダブやダブステップ、グライム、ジャングル、ブレイクビーツ、テクノなどを“現代のパンク”と捉えるDJ達が、音と相性抜群なContactのサウンドシステムを通してフレッシュに混ぜ合わせていく。水曜日だからこそ、リラックスしながらも実験精神に満ちたxtraの空間が、クラブは孤独を楽しむことができる場所だと気づかせてくれるだろう。偶数月第2水曜日、誰かが欲しかった“こんな音”が鳴る“こんな場所”が、渋谷のど真ん中の地下に生まれようとしている。それを完成させるのは、ひとりひとりのあなただ。(文: 麻芝拓)

The living legend returns for BS0xtra

Rob Smith, who celebrated his 30 year anniversary as Smith & Mighty since their debut last year, returns. In April, Rob Smith will be performing at 8 venues in Japan, and takes the stage for his base in Tokyo with BS0xtra.
BS0 is a crew that is dedicated to exploring new sounds and culture of Bristol. “BS0xtra” is carefully curated by the original BS0 crew fusing dub, dubstep, grime, jungle, breakbeats and techno. DJs with the “present generation of punk” mentality brings forth new styles to the dance floor.
