Having previously held events elsewhere in Tokyo, Broad celebrates its seventh anniversary with a line-up that once again champions the much-loved event’s critical taste in upfront electronic music.

On the Studio X Floor, Objekt will be on-hand to delver his blistering, sensorial take on techno, electro and electronica. As well as becoming a prominent producer in the field of experimental club music, he’s equally revered as a DJ capable of spanning eras and genres with razor-sharp technical flair and a deadly impulse for energy-baiting acrobatics. He’ll be joined by Saoirse, whose purely DJ-focused career is built on a keen diggers instinct for deep-cover cuts spanning minimal, electro, techno and house, knitted together with poise and elegance.

In the Contact floor, KO UMEHARA, who captivates the audience every time with his wide range of groovy selections and also stepped up to the main stage at rural this year, will be leading the pack. Toru, organizer of the party OTONO in Nagoya known for bringing in artists such as Peter Van Hoesen and Eric Cloutier and leading the scene in his home ground, joins the lineup to bring deep and hypnotic sounds for the evening.
