The infinite possibilities of electronic music

The return of AOKI Takamasa, the established world-class electronic musician who pursues perfection.  From minimal to electronica, he’s a remarkable electronic musician who’s got it down to a T.  2017 was the last time he played at Contact.  His rare live set, for the first time in 5 years, will demonstrate the sonic images that put him on the map as a world-class musician.  Albino Sound, a roster on Barcelona-based〈Modern Obscure Music〉who’s also released on 〈KTSNS〉run by the party 解体新書 (Kaitai-Shinsho), will perform live in Studio.  AOKI takamasa was the mixing engineer for Albino Sound’s album『Cloud Sports』released in 2015, thus making this inevitable encounter one of the highlights for the evening.  Ryosuke, the underground hero with a long career hailing from Chiba renowned for his superb mixing skills, a variety of sounds ranging from techno to hardcore by mu”he, and the elegant electronic music by Pico, the organizer of the party Negative Cloud, will be on decks in Studio.
Contact floor features Wada Yosuke, known for his affiliation with「FUTURE TERROR」who’s based at Sound Bar Mui in Chiba, is a figure greatly trusted by professionals for his uncompromising groove constructions played at parties throughout the nation.  Joining the lineup are SPINNUTS, the low frequency craftsman who brings his imaginary sonic works to life, NullDaSensei fusing bass and electronic music creating great depth that’s beautifully structured with precision, Lonparis, who holds regular parties at 虎子食堂 (TORANOKO SHOKUDO) and plays all over spreading vibes that can be felt from the core, and the rising star ASTMA, who’s quickly establishing himself with layered sounds of noise/industrial/techno.  Each individual, carrying an unwavering axis, will let you experience the freedom of electronics using dance as the foundation.
In the middle of it all, Mural crew sheds light on new possibilities within the scene.  They are a generation, in their early 20’s, that have studied and analyzed Japanese techno heroes.  Their party, held here at Contact,  is steadily coming to fruition involving a wide range of sounds.  On this day, Foyer as their stage, they present you with a new interpretation of dance music that can only be achieved by them.
