東京発インディペンデント・レーベル〈TOTEM TRAXX〉のアンテームド・テクノパーティ
2020年の最後にしてContact開催10回目となる今回、MEiYOU史上もっともコズミックな陶酔感を体験する一夜が幕を開ける。ゲストには大型野外フェスやØ [Phase]、Richie Hawtin等海外アーティストのサポートとしても活躍するAQUIRAと、近年ミックスジェンダーパーティBallやDommuneへの出演など活動範囲をカルト的な方向へも広げるKaringa、さらに今年2月のSeoul Community Radioなど国外での動きを活発にするDIRTY TIGERが登場する。
自身も強く影響を受けたと語るAndrew Weatherallを色濃く反映させた没入的なサイケデリアを広げるAQUIRAと、フォーマットを無視したイマジネーションの膨張と幻覚的な音像を映すKaringa、DIRTY TIGERのトリッピーな展開に、MEiYOUの首謀者Do Shock Boozeと同レーベル所属のTARZANのアップリフティングなセットとの交わりはダンスミュージックの快楽要素を凝縮したユートピア創造を実現させる。今までのMEiYOUからさらにクリエイティブかつサイケデリックに発展した音場はこの夜を燃焼させようと試みるダンスミュージックフリークに完全な忘我を味わわせてくれるだろう。

The 10th edition, and the final one of year 2020, MEiYOU sets out for its most intoxicating and cosmic experience. The guests for this edition include AQUIRA, who has performed as a supporting act for artists like Ø [Phase] and Richie Hawtin as well as playing at big festivals. Karinga, in recent years has made appearances at Dommune and the mix-gender party “Ball”, joins the lineup along with DIRTY TIGER, who made his way overseas for Seoul Community Radio in February this year.
AQUIRA, heavily influenced by Andrew Weatherall, unfolds a world of psychedelia which goes hand in hand with the imaginative sounds of Karinga that disregards formats, and the trippy sounds of DIRTY TIGER. MEiYOU’s head honcho Do Shock Booze and his label mate Tarzan adds a more creative and uplifting side to the world of psychedelic sounds that brings people to utopia.
