Synapse
今回、MuralはContactでは最後となるパーティを、第1章の集大成として開催する。
これまで、私たちは収束の目処が立たない新型コロナウイルスの状況下でも、必死に活動してきた新鋭のアーティストや芸術家との共創により、新たな文化を構築し続けてきた。
そして今回は、全館開放により私たちのContactでの活動は幕を閉じる。
Studioフロアでは、国内外のメディアからの選出に加え、ロンドンのNTSラジオにてレジデントを務め、パフォーマンスでは変幻自在なサウンドを繋ぎ合わせることにより、フロアへ異質かつ煌びやかな一体感をもたらす、食品まつりa.k.a foodmanが登場する。
それに加え、Muralの成長には欠かせない人物で、好奇心の追求から念密に作り上げられるプレイにより、人々を魅了するBroad主催のTatsuokiが出演。また、先日FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’22デビューを果たし、デビューシングル「ネイルの島」が、J-WAVE TOKIO HOT100にて4位を記録したことでも記憶に新しいさらさ、そして各メンバーがプロデューサーとして活躍していると共に、ライヴシーンではViva Olaや鋭児などの若手アーティストから、黒田卓也など一線のジャズマン達とも共演する、新進気鋭のクリエイティヴコレクティヴw.a.uと、同じくw.a.uのプロデューサーで、圧倒的な音の吸収力から類まれな空間を創り出すReo Anzaiがライヴセットを披露予定。そして、Muralの主催であり、ミニマルからインダストリアルまで、自身が触れ合ってきたサウンドをもって、ストイックにストーリーを作り上げるKaiと、新旧問わず音楽の概念を汲み取りながら再構築しつつも、適切なダンスグルーヴをフロアに届けるLucaが、パーティをまとめる。
Contactフロアでは、渋谷Tangleの店主であり、観衆の集中力を一番高めながら、オルタナティヴの路線で、新奇的なグルーヴを届け続けるMichaelと、自身のバックグラウンドを選曲に活かしながらも、ミックスにおいて特有の抑揚でフロアをキープし続けるTsubasa Shimadaが登場。そしてグラフィックアーティストとしての側面で、国内外問わず引く手数多でありつつも、DJとして持ち前のドラムンを軸に雑食的且つしなやかなプレイで沸かすmasaoに加え、東京Red barでレギュラーパーティを持ち、統一感がありながらも柔軟性のあるミックスで独特な音楽体験を与えるguro.detたちもフロアを彩る。
Foyerフロアでは、同世代ながらも都内で異なるアプローチにて、着実にシーンを盛り上げ続けているmeleetimeとdumplinggalに加え、Muralとw.a.uの架け橋になってくれたanayama、そしてw.a.uのB2Bセットによりフロアをまとめ上げる。
これまで築いてきたつながり、今後のMuralの将来へ向けた導き、そしてその両軸をもって創られる、私たちの想いをこの最後のContactで形にしたい。

Mural closes the 1st chapter with a bang for its final party to be hosted at Contact.
Studio floor features 食品まつりa.k.a foodman bringing a sense of unity to the dance floor with his unique and fast-changing sounds.
In addition to the featured artist, we welcome Tatsuoki, the organizer of Broad who continues to captivate the people with his carefully crafted sets. Live performances by w.a.u, the band who has performed with jazz musicians including Takuya Kuroda as well as making their Fuji Rock debut this year that’s still fresh in our memories, and Reo Anzai, who creates an otherworldly space through his empowering sounds. The stoic storytelling style of Mural’s boss Kai that ranges from minimal to industrial, and Luca with the appropriate grooves for the dance floor that knows no boundaries will be tightening up the party.
Contact floor features the exotic grooves of Michael, and Tsubasa Shimada, who knows how to keep the people on their feet with his distinct mixing technique. With roots in drum & bass as a DJ, the graceful approach of masao along with guro.det, who mixes a wide range of sounds with great consistency, adds more color to the floor.
Foyer floor welcomes meleetime and dumplinggal from the same generation who’s stirring up the scene, anayama, the figure who brought Mural and w.a.u together, and a B2B set by w.a.u.
