D.J.Fulltono returns to Contact

D.J.Fulltono is a supreme musician highly praised amongst artists and people in the industry. It goes without saying that he has been the prominent figure behind Japan’s unique evolution of the Juke scene in comparison with other dance music. In his own words, the contents of his playing style has thickened and become stronger in the past 2 years since the launch of his DRAPING series in August of 2018, which he approached with the sounds of hard minimal. The set from his gig at Manchester last year hosted by Crack Magazine, uploaded onto Soundcloud, he weaves back and forth seamlessly from Juke to Bass and Minimal Techno. In Studio X, Mars89, who released the 12”「The Droogs」end of last year which featured remixes by artists such as Thom Yorke and Zomby, will be supporting the headliner along with the African music expert mitokon from〈TYO GQOM〉. In addition, DJ MORO and KΣITO’s unit GQOMZILLA, just recently released the Mix CD「Okusha」via〈BLACK SMOKER RECORDS〉in June, will be joining the lineup. The 4, with strong originality, the precision, and the genetic genes to liberate through music, team up in the main room.
The bar area will be led by the president of Tokyo’s underground scene, DJ QUIETSTORM. Hi’Spec, the core figure of SIMI LAB, 7e who’s trippy sounds range from electronic music to world music and even psychedelic rock, 3 from 90BPM TAKEOVER based in Nakameguro take the decks. To complete the lineup, Kenjinho will be providing hallucinating global beats. A night of LA Beats, abstract, tribal, world music, all will fuse together into a one psychedelic phenomena. Be prepared for a heavy musical intake that is far from reality as we know it.
