Full-scale immersion as the respected Berlin techno event comes to town

Patterns of Perception was formed in 2016 as a platform to explore deeper strains of techno in Berlin. Having thrown repeated events across their hometown at spaces such as Ohm, ://about blank and Arena Club, they’re now linking with Contact for an unforgettable night of spiritually charged, atom-altering techno.

Heading up the Studio X floor is Peter Van Hoesen, the highly-regarded Belgian DJ and producer with links to the early days of Patterns of Perception. While he can be known to touch on many different kinds of music, his reputation in the field of deep, psychedelic techno is unparalleled. Van Hoesen will be joined by Cyspe, one half of Dutch duo Artefakt, who also have a penchant for transcendental incantations within the field of machine music.

The Contact floor is headed up by Eric Cloutier, one of the leading lights from The Bunker NY and closely associated with labels like Wolfskuil and Mosaic. While his sound is equally geared towards the deeper end of the techno spectrum, it falls a touch tougher than the delicacies which will be embalming the Studio X floor. Whichever way you turn, full immersion is guaranteed.
