ShhhhhとDJ KURIを招いて穿つ別の世界への穴
電子音楽の強者による、超感覚的テクノパーティRadium。
円山町の良バコWhite Space Labの親方で、音響機器を愛するCRAZY NEOのキュレーションにより集った、精巧ながらも直感的かつ本能的なエレクトロニックミュージックの猛者が2フロアに渡って夜の火を燃やす。今回は、音の微細までを探求してきた賢人を集め、出音に定評のContactフロアのシステムで音楽旅行をする試み。音の表皮の感触や重さ、明度や遠近を観察しながら、体をよじらせて楽しんでほしい。
ワールドミュージック/民族音楽のエキスパートで、その要素と電子音楽の折衷的な混合法を見出したパイオニアShhhhhの音の細部へと渡る解釈は、知識では追いつかず、むしろリスナーの心身への反応が顕著かもしれない。膨大な情報の中の歴史や、気温や高度を含む地域性、それは、テクノに変換された時にも不思議とその豊潤な表情をみせる。この日のセッションは優に想像を凌駕しそうな、魅力的な予感にあふれている。〈BLACK FOREST〉を主宰し、 千葉に震源を同じくするDJ NOBUおよび〈FUTURE TERROR〉とも連合の形をとるDJ KURIは、いよいよ途轍もない極まりを見せている。強靭な集中力が収穫する音楽の核の連鎖は、様々なテクスチャーを露出しながら、あまりにも危うい陶酔感と没入感を誘発する。さらに、特別な発想の飛躍をみせるレフトフィールド/テクノのエリートimusの合流も、巨大な音楽空間に興味深い変化を描いてくれそうだ。
Foyerフロアでは、テクノやドラムンベースをロックに融合させる2ピースバンドPRESIDENTのトラックを担うOZONBOEや、卓越したエレクトロニクスによるプロダクションをもつシンガーソングライターA.Y.A、PIG & DANやSteave Bugとのコラボで注目を集めるテクノパーティー SiiNEの中心メンバーMonna Lisaなど、White Space Labからぼこぼこと頭角を表す才能が、カラフルな電子音楽によるホットスポットを創り出す。
この日ラインナップした音楽に貪欲な賢人たちは、我々がもつ音楽の潜在能力と、Contactのシステムの能力を100％引き出してくれるに違いない。

The 2 floors curated by CRAZY NEO, an audio equipment enthusiast and the boss of White Space Lab in Maruyamacho, gathers artists for an evening of exquisite and intuitive electronic music. This edition invites intellects who continue to study and explore the minute details of sound for a sonic journey using Contact’s highly-reputed sound system.
Shhhhh is an expert in World Music/Tribal Music and a pioneer in fusing organic elements with electronic music. His remarkable and detailed interpretation of sound reaches far beyond our understanding, leaving the listeners to purely respond with the mind and body. The history in the vast amount of information, the regional nature including temperature and altitude, shows us great wonders when converted into techno through rich forms of expression. DJ KURI, the boss of〈BLACK FOREST〉, is just simply a beast. With resilience and great focus, he immerses us in highly intoxicating sounds. Leftfield/techno elite imus should add an interesting touch to the huge musical atmosphere that will be created this evening.
Foyer floor welcomes OZONBOE from the 2-piece band PRESIDENT, singer-songwriter A.Y.A, Monna Lisaya, the core member of the techno party SiiNE that’s gaining recognition for collaborating with the likes of PIG & DAN and Steve Bug, and other talents from White Space Lab.
The potent line up of music experts for this evening will use Contact’s sound system to its full potential.
