The Scandinavian disco hero returns to Contact

Rightly hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the world’s top 25 DJs, Todd Terje has a universal appeal that encompasses critical disco heads and open-hearted party people alike. His reputation was cemented with huge hits like “Inspector Norse” and his widely celebrated LP, It’s Album Time. While there’s no follow up album in sight, despite teasing hints and singles such as 2017’s “Maskindans”, Terje is still delivering his midas touch to the dance via mesmerising DJ sets that span the depth and breadth of his sound. As anyone who caught his 2018 Japan tour will attest, the Norwegian maestro has an uncanny ability to weld together different genres under one joyous groove.
On the Contact floor, we’re proud to present a special appearance from DJ SMOOTH FALLING, a three-way team including Terje’s artistic collaborator Bendik Kaltenborn and fellow Oslo residents Koppen and Thaulow. Meanwhile, the Scandinavian theme continues with ØL Tokyo, who will be serving Norwegian beer and coffee to complement the Nordic music on offer.
