現在では当たり前にDJブースに完備されるようになったCDJ、ほとんどのDJはターンテーブルの代替として使用しているが、DJ KARIZMAは違う。早くからCDJというツールのポテンシャルを熟知し、楽器を演奏するかのように使いこなし、楽曲を再構築していく彼のプレイはDJの概念を覆す神業の領域。テクノロジーと斬新なアイディアが可能にする音楽表現を目撃する貴重な機会が再びやってきた。しかも今回はヒップホップ、ハウス、ブロークンビーツのエッセンスが見事に調和しファンクネス溢れるKAYTRONIK名義の新アルバム『Thee Album』をひっさげて登場。サポートには東京のダンサー・コミュニティとダンスフロアの架け橋となっているOHISHIがDJとして、また彼のダンス・チームSODEEPがダンス・ショーケースも披露する。

CDJs became a part of the default setup in the DJ booth, which are mostly used by DJs as substitute for turntables. But DJ KARIZMA is different. He discovered the potential of this machine earlier on, mastered it, and capable to play it like a music instrument, reconstruct ready made tracks and remix them into something of his own. Here comes another chance to witness such magic, and also to celebrate his release of Thee Album under his KAYTRONIK alias that blends the best of hip hop, house and broken beat just like the way he DJs. Tokyo local OHISHI will keep the dance floor nice and sweaty as a support DJ, and as a part of his dance team SODEEP set to give a performance as well.
