時間と空間を歪め、遥か過去から遥か未来のその先へ
遥か未来を彷彿させる古代文明に着想を得て、渋谷・頭BARの偶数月第1木曜日に開催されてきた“Stone age”が1周年を迎え、スペシャルエディションとしてContactにて出張特別企画を行う。
スペシャルゲストに、新たなミックスCDをリリースした東京を代表するDJ/前衛音楽家の小林径氏と日本を代表する舞踏家の工藤丈輝によるエクスペリメンタルデュオを迎える。
そしてStone ageレギュラーコンテンツとして今回も、東京の実像と時間の隙間を切り取る写真家Tadashi Onishiによる大画面フォトエキシビションとのセッションによる聴覚と視覚のトランスビジョンが展開される。
日本におけるブラジル伝統楽器パンデイロのパイオニア、故・小澤敏也の遺した前衛思想パンデイロオンリーアンサンブルのJingle Gym、完全即興エレクトロバンド瓢箪のタッグによるインプロヴィゼーションライヴが行われる。
また今回特別参加として、呪術的な歌唱とレイドバックなギター/ビートを素材にアップデートされた和製アシッドフォークの深みをループミュージックとして表現するSHOKO、そして硬質なループビートの中に解体/再構築の高感度な即興性を魅せてくれるsound of nothingとobiによるエレクトロダンスユニットsonobiがライヴを披露する。
そして深夜からはディープダンスフロアが創出される。DJ陣には、ジャズロジックで時代と国境を超えあらゆるエレクトロダンスミュージックから辺境音楽までを縦横無尽にミックスする匠Yama a.k.a Sahib from Jazz Brothersを筆頭に、都内各地の重要ヴェニューを揺らすShunhor、rinnai、さらに独創性の光る孤高の若手DJ不時着を迎え、Stone ageクルーからは、トランス/テクノ/インダストリアルシーンにて長きに渡り信頼を得てきた実力派DJのTec、横須賀SHELL叩き上げを体現するIshiguroに加え、EMB、CSN、Hayato Yamazaki、SIMODも深夜の着地点まで音を鳴らす。
開演から終了まで、渋谷Contactにある種の出入口を。時間と空間を歪めて遥か過去、未来の遥か先へ。
Warping time and space of the past and into the future
Stone age, a party held at 頭BAR (Zu-Bar), celebrates their 1st anniversary with a special edition at Contact.
Special guest appearance by Tokyo’s DJ/Composer Kei Kobayashi, who has released a new mix CD, will be teaming up with Butoh dancer Taketeru Kudo for an experimental duo performance.
Regular contents curated by Stone age that consists of photo exhibition by photographer Tadashi Onishi displayed on a large screen.
Jingle Gym is a pandeiro ensemble, an homage to the the deceased Japanese percussionist pioneer of Brazil’s traditional instrument pandeiro, joins the electro band 瓢箪 (Hyoutan) for an improvisational live set. Another special live performer is SHOKO, an acid folk musician that creates an unworldly vibe through the use of loops with her laid-back guitar/beats/vocals. In addition, sound of nothing and obi’s electro dance unit sonobi will also be making a live appearance.
As the night progresses, the dance floor will take a turn into deeper realms. Yama a.k.a Sahib from Jazz Brothers, known for his involvement in fusing jazz and dance music, will be lead the group of DJs Shunhor, rinnai, tec, Ishiguro, EMB, CSN, Hayato Yamazaki, and SIMOD.
A night of musicians and DJs from various backgrounds warping time and space of the past and into the future.
