ジャンルの垣根、世代を超えて未来に繋げる僕らのカルチャー
8月に行われたWOVENの初回から早2か月、第2回目の開催が決定した。前回同様、Studio XとContactフロアのDJセットだけでなく、出演者たちのトークルームも実装される。それに加えて今回はフリーマーケットも設営、その収益の80%はNAACP（全米有色人種地位向上協議会）に寄付される。また、DJ体験ブースの設置も決定した。Studio Xにはmu”he、H.I.D. aka Hideo Kobayashi、Risa Taniguchi、DISK NAGATAKIが登場し、広義のレイヴサウンドを披露。Contactフロアには、Mustache X、andrew、YO.AN、YOUFORGOTが名を連ね、ジャンルを越境するエレクトロニック・ミュージックが鳴らされる。カッティングエッジな音楽を中心に、多角的なクラブの楽しみを実現するのがWOVENである。DJやオーディエンスの立場に関わらず、参加者には様々な楽しみ方をぜひ発見してほしい。
WOVENにはGH STREAMINGやMixmag Japanも参画しており、メディアを通してその模様は伝えられる。この時“編成された”ものは、未来でどのような意味を持つだろうか。

Breaking barriers of genres, beyond generations to connect to the future of our culture
After two months since their first installment in August, WOVEN is back with its 2nd edition. With the same concept as last time, DJ performances in Studio X and Contact floor, as well as a separate talk room for a panel discussion with the performers will take place. In addition, there will be a flea market with 80% of the proceeds going to NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), also a DJ booth set up for the public. Studio X focuses on rave sounds by mu”he, H.I.D. aka Hideo Kobayashi, Risa Taniguchi, and DISK NAGATAKI. In contrast, Contact floor features a wide spectrum of electronic music navigated by Mustache X, andrew, YO.AN, and YOUFORGOT. WOVEN focuses on cutting-edge music and creating an environment where the DJs, audience, and participants can enjoy the club experience from various angles.
In association with GH STREAMING and Mixmag Japan, WOVEN conveys their message through the use of media platforms. What kind of meaning will this thing “being formed” at the present will have in the future.
