The darkest and coldest night where avant-garde and classical coexists

The greatest from wave music to post-punk and industrial/noise scene gather to create an empowering musical space for the mind and body.  Cold Delight invites 6 live acts and 8 DJs, currently the topic of both Japan and overseas, to present their cutting-edge obscure electronic music to take you into the abyss for the darkest and coldest night.
The split LP「SYNTH IN JAPAN」by Soloist Anti Pop Totalization and Jin Cromanyon, released in February via German art label〈Objetrouvé〉, is comprised of 7 new and updated tracks by minimal synth player S.A.T.P. and 5 tracks by the acid techno/synth pop genius Jin Cromanyon, whose album released from Parisian label〈MACADAM MAMBO〉is gaining recognition and performing in Tokyo for the first time this day.  It is without question that the listeners will transcend the great amount of musical information that they are provided with by their performances.  The 3 piece band Ms.Machine stayed quite active in 2021 releasing a 12″LP in August on「Vår」following their self-titled 1st album, as well as performing at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL.  They’ve shared the stage with the likes of Australian post-punk bands Total Control and UBIK, appearances for New York’s art media collective 8 Ball Community and LA-based media CVLT Nation, and have gained international popularity for their outstanding releases.  Fusing vocals with electronics, the harsh noise artist NOISECONCRETEx3CHI5 and vocalist 3CHI5’s experimental live set that dives into trip hop/noise will be a great match with the warped guitar sounds of Ms. Machine.  In addition, Golpe Mortal, industrial/wave scene’s prominent act who has played the supporting act for Phase Fatale and Verset Zero’s performances in Japan, and SYN, whose sound is a unique mixture of noise and techno, will also perform contemporary machine live sets giving birth to a strange yet uplifting space.
DJs featuring Japan’s utmost experimental sounds include Sayaka Botanic, who’s performed at Berlin Atonal and CTM Festival as group A, TIDEPOOL, the brain of tribal electronic unit IN THE SUN, and the mind-boggling Celter.  Shun, whose excellent works have been released on labels overseas, EBM/dark-wave sounds of SiSen straight from Germany, post-punk/goth/minimal wave expert nAo12xu, and RICKY joins the lineup of elites linking to the German scene.
